BlueTex now with GPS

By adding a GPS receiver to the BlueGPS, Wireless System Integration has created a device that is instantly usable for personal navigation and real-time tracking.

The BlueTex GPS is an IP 54 class device, meaning that it can be dropped on the floor and will withstand dust and rain. Battery performance is a full 16 hours of continuous operation on a single charge. Measuring just 150 x 100 x 42 mm, the BlueTexGPS is extremely compact. In addition to LEDs indicating communication status, the device has six function buttons that can be used for status messaging.

Initially, the BlueTexGPS will be available for Mobitex 400 MHz EU band networks, where demand is greatest.
